Pink Ageratum houstonianum roseum Floss Flower

It has broad leaves of dark green, with silver white bands. Even without a flower this is a striking plant, but when it flowers, it is a show stopper. The pyramidal flowerhead is raised about 15 cm above the vase and has spiky, shocking pink flower bracts and blue flower petals, a stupendous combination.


Ageratum Houstonianum Purpureum (Purple Floss Flower) Plant

The unusual flowers of floss flower appear in shades from light blue to violet-blue, purple and white. They sit in dense, umbellate flowerheads and consist of tubular as well as ray florets. The blooming period of Ageratum houstonianum can extend from late May into November.
